AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): From farmers' bill pass to uncontrolled price hikes, all anti-people decisions are being taken by Modi Govt amid Covid-19 pandemic but due to Covid-19 people across India can not protest, though no Covid rule is imposed in Tripura upon the BJP rallies and also no action is taken against BJP goons for attacking oppositions and common men house to house. Exemplifying people's suffocating situation, motor workers got arrested in Agartala after they came in protest against petrol, diesel price hikes. Last week, 10323 teachers were also arrested after they gathered to protest in Agartala but no such action was taken against BJP when they were seen in various rallies. Even Ministers like Santana Chakma, CM Biplab Deb violated Covid protocols shamelessly amid statewide Covid crisis causing hunger, starvation and even suicides.

Today's protest was staged by Tripura Motor Workers under INTUC but the protest just had started and police arrested all of them, taken to police ground in buses.

The agitators while being arrested raised the slogan "Modi Sarkar Jabab Chai, Jabab Dao.............."
