AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): Instead of Jobs, Self-Employment has been prioritized by Chief Minister Biplab deb.

Deb was addressing media about employment generation in a plantation programme, when he said so.

Biplab Deb said, "From schemes, whether employment generation will be directly held or not that's not important but Self-Reliant Tripura's formation is most important. More than job takers, self-employment is focused in this scheme and Govt thus will provide 5 trees from house to house".

BJP before the election had promised about 50,000 Govt jobs in 1st 1-Year. However, that was the biggest promise of BJP to unemployed youths but the promise could not be fulfilled erupted heavy frustration among the unemployed youths.
