Tripura’s Veterinary Students get | AGARTALA, March 17 (TIWN): Tripura's Veterinary students are undergoing tremendous financial crisis as their internship allowance has been stuck at rupees Thirteen Hundred only. The students of Veterinary alleged that whereas medical students are getting Eighteen Thousand per month, but the negligence of the state govt has left them with only Thirteen Hundred which not even adequate for their bus fares. New Govt facing tight Economic condition | AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): As expected, Tripura BJP govt is now undergoing heavy economic crisis following the 25 years of CPI-M regime. In this condition rather than depending upon the Central Govt, it left with no other option. At the same time, ex-CM Manik Sarkar's allegation proven true as a deficit of 1588.19 crores was reported after the cabinet meeting. However, behind such an economical disaster, BJP Govt has blamed the nil-revenue income of the state govt years after years. After the cabinet meeting, Minister Pranajit Sinha Roy said, “Today in the cabinet meeting, the Chief Secretary placed the critical economic condition of the state before us. In 2017-18 the total fund allocated by the centre was 12708.81 crores. The expenditure was 14297 crores with a deficit of 1588.19 croresâ€.“The revenue collection of the state govt has been very poor, even though the expenditure is increasing years after years. Tripura BJP CM introduces 'Janata Durbar | AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): Tripura BJP Chief Minister Biplab Deb has introduced a direct-public relation system named 'Janta's Durbar'. According to the rule of Janta's Durbar, the CM will now talk directly to the common people on every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Apart from that Biplab Deb will also talk to the common men face to face regarding their problems on each Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 8 AM to 9 AM. The results in both the states triggered calls for a Grand Alliance - a la Bihar - all across India to take on the BJP in the next Lok Sabha polls. The BJP lost Gorakhpur seat to the SP by a margin of 21,961 votes. SP candidate Pravin Kumar Nishad got 4,56,437 votes over his nearest BJP rival Upendra Dutt Shukla who secured 4,34,476 votes.
