AMARPUR / AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): IPFT’s unruly extortion business calls for immediate review of BJP-IPFT political alliance as IPFT cadres forcefully collecting huge money after winning election on 3rd March. It is less than a week since the BJP-IPFT gov't led by CM Biplab Kumar Deb has sworn in but N.C Debbarma led IPFT already begun their mass extortion business targeting schools, offices, small businesses, general public across Tripura. But even in this short span of time the IPFT goons have started to come out with their real intention.

In different parts of the state IPFT, especially the NC Debbarma wings, are pressuring people t donate money in the name of organizing "Delhi Chalo" movement . 

Even before the election people of Tripura and even a major segment of RSS raised their views asking BJP leaders not to form any alliance with the IPFT but BJP leaders didn't listen to the fact. Unless IPFT is brought under tight control, IPFT’s unruly cadres may wipe out BJP’s goodwill in Tripura.

TIWN is furnishing documents which include extortion demands via handwritten letters of Rs 15,000/- on 8^th March by Shivaji Debbarma, IPFT Organizing Secretary, followed by Yubak Kishore Jamatia, Divisional Secretary Mobile 7085540148, followed by Rs. 20,000/- demand by President IPFT South Amarpur Division, Gomati District on 6^th March.

IPFT started mass extortion immediately after winning Assembly seats and becoming a power sharing partner with BJP Govt in Tripura.

During election for a few days only IPFT leaders and their supporters did not utter a single word about the much talked Twipra Land but once the alliance came to power these unruly cadres of IPFT have again started their old game of extortion of money. 

IPFT extortion only a worrying sign for the New CM Biplab Kumar Deb but also a big cheating with the people of Tripura as thousands and thousands of people have shown their faith towards the BJP-IPFT alliance with hope that this new gov't will give a huge relief from extortion of money . 

Along with this news TIWN has attached a few documents which clearly expose IPFT's extortion.

It is high time that the new Gov't led by Biplab Kumar Deb comes out strongly and gives a strong message against these illegal activities that can be termed as hooliganism . 

It is to be mentioned here that only a day back  BJP learnt a good lesson as in Uttar Pradesh by-polls the party lost two crucial seats to Samajwadi Party though only a year ago Team Narendra Modi made a historic win. BJP leaders should not forget that even though CPI-M party has lost the elction , it has still managed to get 42% of vote shares in the recently concluded Tripura Assembly poll . 

The new gov't has just been formed , then where is the need for IPFT leaders to Go to Delhi ? The party's state leadership has not yet spoken a single word about this movement . It is really very interesting that IPFT is targeting gov't officials posted in tribal areas and asking them not to leak anything about this type of fund collection to any one . 

TIWNs reliable sources added that from 6th March IPFT has started this type of fund collection when everyone remained busy in Vijay Utsav of BJP-IPFTs historic in the Communist baston . If such type of extortion is not stopped immediately , the days are not far away when rapid mass dissatisfaction will fume out and wily CPI-M leaders will make it an issue to re-organizing the masses, who shifted their loyalty towards BJP.

Over dozen BJP leaders from ADC areas reached out to TIWN to highlight IPFT’s mass extortion as these goons not sparing schools to even primary Health Care Centers after 3^rd March Election win.

BJP Govt must deal these extortions sternly as a law & order issue and arrest all involved IPFT functionaries immediately.

Biplab Deb, Sunil Deodhar must convene a meeting with IPFT on urgent basis and stop this statewide extortion racket with immediate effect,  otherwise Statewide sufferings will malign BJP Govt’s goodwill and defeat in 2019 Lok Sabha Election.
