AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb while interacting with media after his first ever attending of 'Janata Durbar' said, "The Janata Durbar is a means of Govt's direct communication to the public and also way to the faster-solution to the public-problems".

"Govt is answerable to the Janata and that's why the Janata Darbur is needed. From now Govt will be noting down problems, end the problem and will inform the complainers. Govt of people should be like this", Biplab Deb said.

"It has been seen often that due to lack of knowledge, public are forced to roam from Panchayat door to offices, offices to Ministers, Ministers to Directors and with all these 6 months cross. That's why the direct communication system is necessary, so that Govt directly know about their problems", CM told media.

According to the rule of Janta's Durbar, Tripura CM will now talk directly to the common people on every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

On Friday from morning 10 AM to 12 noon, the Chief Minister will talk to the public at the conference hall of Secretariat, whereas on Wednesday and Saturday mornings the meetings will be scheduled from 8 AM to 9 AM.
