AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): Keeping the General Election (Lok Sabha) ahead, Politburos have sat in a meeting at New Delhi.

Tripura Opposition leader ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is also present there.

Top political figures of CPI-M including Prakash Karat, Surya Kanta Mishra, Sitaram Yechury, Brinda Karat were present in the meeting.

CPI-M will discuss with whom the party is going to align in the upcoming election.

On the other side, The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) under Andhra Pradesh chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is likely to break ties with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) after the politburo meet in Amaravati on Friday.
