Next date of hearing 12000 non-teaching | AGARTALA, Oct 24 (TIWN): With a major setback, 12000 non-teaching posts' hearing has been once again postponed till 16th January, 2018. Hearing couldn't be completed on Tuesday and the Supreme has asked Tripura Govt not to circulate the appointments till the next hearing that is on 16th January, 2018. This setback has majorly affected the 10323 teachers' who were terminated on 2017's March 29 at the Supreme Court due to illegal recruitments of those teachers done by Tripura Govt in 2010 and 2014. The 10323 teachers' termination date is December 31st 2017 and Tripura Govt with a motive to provide jobs to the 10323 teachers who lost their jobs due to the recruitment policy's violation by the State Govt, had created the 12000 non-teaching posts recently. Thus the case which was filed against the 12000 non-teaching posts on 28-8-2017 which was registered on 4-9-2017 couldn't receive the final verdict even on Tuesday. Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel and Uday Amesh Lalit gave the hearing today by postponing it till January 2018. After the hearing of 12000 case, one thing is clear that the 10323 teachers will not be provided with anyother option but have to wait till the final verdict on 12000 case at the SC in 2018's January.
