Kakri river is overflowing, flood across Dharmanagar

DHARMANAGAR, Oct 22 (TIWN): With the Kakri river is overflowing, Dharmanagar under North Tripura Dist has sunk under the rain water that has affected normal lives heavily.
Various shops, houses have fully gone under water causing massive losses, panics among the common people.
Dharmanagar’s Kameswar Kakripar, tangibari is the highest flood affected area.
Even the Kali Puja’s pandals have gone under water. Market areas were heavily affected due to such damages.
Collapse of houses have led hundreds of flood affected people to shelter in flood refugee camps at there.
Apart from North Tripura District, other districts have also been affected due to flood including Goamti Dist South Tripura, West Tripura.
