AMARPUR, Oct 24 (TIWN): Whereas NDRF led emergency team immediately rush at Agartala based flood victimized areas and boats are immediately launched but in case of rural and interior areas the negligence of the state govt has been alleged.

Amarpur subdivision is yet to recover from the flood situations and river Gomati is still threatening the whole area leading transport disruption; disruption in normal lives.

From Birganj to Akshay Colony areas are now totally under water cutting the whole transport. Resentment has brewed among the locals for being deprive of basic facilities.

Atleast 300 families had been affected due to flood at Amarpur. Many houses were collapsed with massive losses to agriculture, fisheries.

Total Gomati Dist has been highly affected due to the rainy environment. Landslides have damaged houses, roads, plants all over Natun Bazaar area of Amarpur.
