The promise was, if BJP comes to power then it will fill up the existing vacant posts within 1 year of the Govt formation that is in 2018-19. Tripura Congress Protested against LPG P | AGARTALA, March 25 (TIWN): Today Dharmanagar District Mahila Congress team of Tripura staged a protest against the price hike of LPG and other essential commodities under BJP rule. The protest was staged as a part of a nationwide protest of the All India Mahila CongressPetrol and diesel prices were on Tuesday hiked by 80 paise a litre while domestic cooking gas prices were increased by Rs 50 per cylinder.Simultaneously, the price of a non-subsidised LPG cylinder has been increased to Rs 949.50 for each 14.2-kg bottle in the national capital.While LPG rates were last revised on October 6, 2021, petrol and diesel prices had been on a freeze since November 4 as five states including Uttar Pradesh and Punjab went to polls. LPG prices had gone up by close to Rs 100 per cylinder between July and October 6, 2021, before criticism halted the revision in rates. Fixed Pay Scale employees demand regular | AGARTALA, March 23 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath has released data saying 3056 regular jobs happened under his Department in last four years. Along with that he gave other departments’ data but no data could reflect the Govt’s effort to fulfill the pre-poll promises which it made before the Election 2018. First of all, BJP before 2018 had promised to fill up 50,000 vacant posts by 2018-19 which were left vacant under the previous Government’s time. In the case of the Education Dept, Tripura’s 10323 teachers were terminated and among them, more than eight thousand-eight hundred teachers’ posts are vacant along with retirement row per year of other teachers crossed 60 years. So, among 8,800 posts that were vacated due to 10323 teachers' terminations could not be fulfilled by the Govt, which means Tripura Govt’s expenditure for employment rather decreased, instead of increasing.
