AGARTALA, March 28 (TIWN): The first-ever trial run for Agartala to Jammu and Kashmir will start tomorrow. Tomorrow at 7 pm a train as the trial will start its maiden journey from Agartala. Transport Minister Pranjait Singha Roy has confirmed the information. Talking to media, Roy said, “In last four years of BJP rule in Tripura, due to PM Modi and CM Biplab Deb’s visions for Tripura the landlocked state is now towards to become unlocked”.
“Our state is bordered on 3 sides but connectivity has been expanded heavily in last four years. 6 states are totally connected by trains. Already connectivity with Mumbai, Guwahati is underway and now with Jammu and Kashmir it will be extended, which is a spiritual land. However, it is not sure when the service will be started permanently. Let’s start with the trial first”, said Roy.
