AGARTALA, March 25 (TIWN): Roadways have left in miserable states in various parts of Teliamura. Reportedly, around 20-25 families are residing in Bengali Para area of West Hawaii Bari Gram Panchayat under Teliamura RD block and the local people stepping on the main road have to pass through a Bamboo bridge.
Talking with a villager it is known that in every monsoon season they face trouble to reach on the main road as every year during monsoon the bamboo bridge swipes away due to heavy flow of water. As a result the School student mainly faces trouble in the area.
The matter was reported to Hawaibari Panchayat members but nothing was done as this has been going on for a long time over 30 years, for which a suppressed anger has been generating among locals.
Locals demanded a proper bridge should be built as soon as possible so that they can move freely.
