BJP Govt to Complete 32 months in Tripur | AGARTALA, Oct 30 (TIWN): Resentments have been fueled among the State Govt employees of Tripura as there is no DA from last 31 months of the BJP-rule. BJP Govt will complete its 32 months keeping only 28 months in count before the next election. Govt Employees Federation has strongly criticized the Govt over the attitude of the govt as previously, the Left Govt used to give 5% DA twice in a year. The gap between State and Central Pays remained around 50% of difference thus. Since BJP Govt has taken charge, massive pending DAs have erupted resentment among the Govt employees. We also want to live..... | AGARTALA, Oct 30 (TIWN): By stopping free medicine supplies for dialysis patients, Biplab Deb Govt has put the poor and middle class people under heavy trouble forcing them to purchase all medicines from private shops which is taking up the total bill per dialysis around Rs. 2,500. The kidney patients need 2 or 3 dialysis per week but due to lack of money, it is becoming impossible for them to carry the dialysis expenditure. A daily worker's son with folded hands said in video from GB hospital dialysis centre, "Please Sir save us. We want to live. Here only for medicines, I am bound to spend Rs. 2000 to Rs. 2,500 and then we need around Rs. 500 to Rs. 700 to return home. My father is a daily worker, but I also want to live. When Modi Govt made dialysis free, we got a hope to survive but all facilities are stopped". Even after much criticism, Govt of Tripura led by Biplab Deb has been strict to his Anti-Employees decision of 'reviewing performance' which was suspected by analysts as a plan to send them in force retirement. In an order released by Gomati District Senior Deputy Magistrate Sajal Biswas dated 22/10/2020 asked the offices to submit Govt employees performance report by November 7. This order however proves that in all Districts the order issuing would be continuing simultaneously. It has triggered question whether Tripura Govt is planning to send Govt employees in force retirement when the Govt recently has promised fresh recruitments amid financial distress but there are clouds about who will decide the parameter of the so called performance.
