AGARTALA, Oct 29 (TIWN): After Bajrang Dal's protest in West Agartala Police station on yesterday, police has allegedly removed maximum possible criminal charges against the arrested man who was arrested after caught red-handed while physically and mentally harassing a lawyer in the West District Court. Advocate Arindam Bhattacharjee has further filed a case against police's criminal patronizing attitude.

Now, police have not sought any custody for the man and produced him as just a suspected person in the crime. It happened after Bajrang Dal which is unofficially known as paid goons of BJP held protest, used slang words against police in the West Agartala PS seeking immediate release of the arrested Bajrang Dal member.

The group of lawyers beyond any forum have further filed case in court and accordingly court has sought answer from police about whether the produced man for whom only 151 is the IPC implied, is the same person in the FIR ?

Lawyers have condemned police's politically motivated move in support of criminals. The main judgement yet to come, said Advocate Arindam Bhattacharjee in a press meet.
