If these Govt projects works were given in sufficient manner, then the situation could be different. But the numbers of works are given to the daily workers have been reportedly very limited which has put their lives in tight condition. Due to economic fall, these workers are not getting sufficient works. Talking to TIWN at Battala, the daily workers have said that they are not getting works hardly for 2 days in a month. If today they get work, there is assurance about tomorrow. All the workers said that under the previous Govt, the situation was far better than this present Govt.

Infact, one worker has said that his life is devastated after BJP came in power. From Govt side, due to paper works many workers are not even getting minimum benefits whereas others said that in COVID-19 crisis, Tripura Govt could not give them anything except double-rice.
