AGARTALA, Oct 28 (TIWN): The Gomati District Administration circulated a notice stating that the Government has decided to review the performances of all the officers/ officials who attain the age of 50/55 years or have completed 30 years of qualifying service. This decision by government has erupted a situation of tension among the employees over 50 years age and who have contributed a notable period of their lives in their respective service fields.

The notice circulated by Office of the District Magistrate and Collector, Gomati District mentioned that, " In this context, all the SDMs/ EEs RD. Divisions/ BDOs/SDOs, RD. Sub Divisions/ Treasury Officers/ Sub- Treasury Officers under this district here by requested to furnish the list of all Group B, C, D Officer/ Officials belonging to District Revenue Administration RD. Organisation including Engineering wing/ settlement/ Finance/ GA (P&T) Departments who attain the age of 50/55 years or complete 30 years of qualifying service alongwith their performance report to this Office by 7.11.2020 positively for onwards transmission of the same to the Government as desired."
