Tripura based NGO ‘Seva O Sahayata | Agartala, Oct 23 (TIWN): Tripura based NGO ‘Seva O Sahayata Parisad’ (SOSP) which works mostly on "crime against womenâ€, has organized two days' clothes distribution programme on the eve of Durga Puja from Panchami to Shashthi. Day before Yesterday(Panchami) clothes were distributed among 100 mothers in Chhataria village under Radhakishorepur Constituency. On the same day, SOSP has visited the house of deceased Tuikrayo Mog(murder case under Baikhora Police Station) as a part of its weekly visit to the rape victim families, and distributed clothes to the children of the household as well as the neighbourhood. With Durga puja spirit on spire, Maha-Saptami puja has started across Durga puja pandals in Tripura. Pomp and pageantry marked Maha Saptami - day two of the Durga Puja across Udaipur, Dharmanagar, Kailashahar, Belonia, Amarpur etc on Friday. Since early morning, people have been thronging colossal puja pandals (marquees) where idols of the goddess and her four children are being worshipped amid much community fanfare, although this year crowds are less in this COVID-affected region. The religious rituals of Maha Saptami (seventh day on the lunar calendar) began with the bathing of a banana plant in ponds. The plant is treated like a bride, wrapped in a new sari and placed next to the idol of Lord Ganesh, son of Goddess Durga. Placing a deputation to the Director of Elementary Education, TET qualified unemployed youths have demanded immediate recruitment of them in vacant posts. They said that their certificates values will be ended by next 4 months due to deadline of their validities. Earlier, CM Biplab Deb had recruited IT cell youths in CM's office at Secretariat. Now, BJP's Tripura President cum TCA President Dr. Manik Saha himself appointed the party's IT cell youth in that post with Rs. 20,000 salary per month. It has been informed that at every 3 months, his appointment tenure is being increased. Whispers are in air, how without interview such appointments can be given ? Where is the much hyped Recruitment Rule (RR) now ? Earlier, BJP Govt was heavily criticized for appointing a party president in TCA President post. GRS, TET, TSR recruitments forgotten : R | AGARTALA, Oct 21 (TIWN): Netizens have slammed Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath alleging pre-ADC Election JUMLA after he announced on Tuesday about recruitment in 500 Police Constable and 4,000 non-technical posts. When the Minister has announced this, already in Tripura 1962 GRS posts yet left vacant after interviewing. TET qualified unemployed youths are not getting jobs and TSR recruitment is also paused after receiving application forms with charges, although CM Biplab Deb promised 2 years back about 2,500 TSR recruitment in state. Now, after Minister Ratanlal Nath has announced about new recruitments, it has also raised question will the unemployed youths qualify in those tests as CM Biplab Deb already in propaganda that due to lack of quality in Education, Tripura's unemployed youths are not getting jobs.
