Teachers’ crisis hits Quality Edu | AGARTALA, July 21 (TIWN): Amid Govt’s attempt to increase the quality of education, teachers’ crisis has hit the schools in reality and teachers are . Govt has decided also to transfer teachers from town areas to rural schools to mitigate the gaps. Education Dept has told media that 147 schools in Tripura having students bearing numbers of less than 10 students. In the contrary, the teachers crisis is not yet ended, neither the agonies of the B.Ed qualified, TET passed unemployed youths. At the same time, having a huge numbers of qualified people, Tripura facing towards massive unemployment rate at 26.2%. Around thousands of qualified job aspirants have expressed resentments about recruitment delays, which the Govt is unable to handle under unknown reasons. Tripura Govt has to focus on Teachers Recruitment as well as recruitments in other departments. All major parties in Tripura welcomed NR | AGARTALA, July 20 (TIWN): As an exercise to identify illegal immigrants is underway in Assam, all major political parties in the neighbouring Tripura favour its replication in this state too, although some put certain riders. The major parties seeking introduction of NRC in Tripura include the ruling BJP, the Congress, Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and Meghalaya-based National People's Party (NPP), which was declared as a national party by the Election Commission last month. But in a strange connotation, Govt of Tripura has arranged special relaxation for B.Ed which has raised eyebrows. Tripura has over 5000 B.Ed holders whereas according to Education Minister Ratanlal Nath’s claim around 14000 teaching posts are vacant, but due to lack of eligible candidates Govt is unable to fill up the vacant posts but instead of appointing B.Ed holder TET passed teachers first Education Dept is hurrying for relaxation in B.Ed which is quite contradictory and against the interest of Quality Education when in reality there are B.Ed holders available in the state and more than thousands among them are TET qualified.
