AGARTALA, July 20 (TIWN): A SMART City or SMART Village is not possible without awareness among public about cleanliness, but a village in Kanchanpur in Tripura has taught lesson how without factory’s smokes and industrialization smartness can be displayed by maintaining cleanliness and saving nature. Vanghmun is the headquarter of Jampui Hill R.D Block

TIWN has visited Vanghmun Village in Kanchanpur and collected footages, talked to the locals.

A great section of people are Educated, but close to nature. They are maximum indigenous people have been traditionally close to nature but their attitudes to nature and cleanliness displayed their Educational values.

Indeed, people of urban areas and also Agartala can learn ‘manners of cleanliness’ from this village.

However in the village drainage system in few spots of the village is not much up to date as due to hills water flows away but still if initiatives can be taken, for far future this beautiful area can be preserved for long.

Tripura Govt has intention to create smart villages along with smart cities throughout Tripura, which is not possible if common men dump all responsibilities on the Govt and Municipalities.
