No initiatives are being taken by the sub-divisional health officer and the concerned department to fix it. According to a reliable source in the Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital, the newly constructed oxygen plant, which had been constructed at a cost of lakhs of rupees for almost a year, broke down. When Chief Medical Officer Chandan Debbarma was asked about this, he first tried to avoid this issue in front of the reporters. However, later, he admitted that he had informed the higher authorities about the failure of the oxygen plant. At around 11 am, Teliamura Forest Range Officer Supriya Debnath received a tip-off that a lot of stolen wood was lying in an abandoned house in Baganbazar area under Kalyanpur Forest Range. Based on that information, the forest department staff under the leadership of Teliamura Forest Range Officer Supriya Debnath went to Bagan Bazar area with the help of Kalyanpur Police Station and managed to recover 150 feet of teak wood from the abandoned house of a person named Ratan Moni Das.
