AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Sunday while addressing a blood donation camp organized by TSECL Workers & Employees Sangh said the Govt will do its best to support the TSECL employees. “We are helping such victim employees financially. We will stand beside the Power Employees”, Ratan Lal Nath claims amid ‘No Regularization of Power Dept Employees, Privatization of TSECL’.
The Power Minister however did not mention about Govt’s planning with the future of TSECL employees, and irregular workers. He was also silent over the safety of the TSECL employees, untrained workers/linemen and lack of infrastructure in the department-led Power Office.
Nath further said people are losing control of their patience at petty issues.
“Power Dept employees are trying their level best to control power cut and load-shedding issues. 9.78 lakhs of TSECL customers live in Agartala city and our strength is much low”, said the Power Minister. However, his speech indicated employee crisis.
“TSECL employees are becoming victims of situation. They are dying, injuring while working for the people”, added Nath.
