Press Council of India issues Notice to | AGARTALA, Sep 30 (TIWN): The Press Council of India (PCI) Chairman Justice Chandramauli Kumar Prasad has issued notice to the Tripura Govt over attacks on media houses on 8th September, 2021 as the entire incident has remained without any police action against the accused persons even after the culprits faces were exposed in clear footages. PCI chairman Justice CK Prasad has reportedly asked the State Chief Secretary and Director General of Police to submit replies over the incident. However, so far no reply was sent to the PCI from the State. 3 newspaper offices - 1) Pratibadi Kalam, 2) Daily Desher Katha, 3) Duranta TV and at least 50 party offices of CPI-M have been set on fire by BJP in 24 hours. On Sept 8 in Agartala 1) Pratibadi Kalam, 2) Daily Desher Katha were openly attacked in broad daylight and the accused persons faces were exposed but the entire incident left without any action. After BJP-IPFT Govt formation's 3.7 Year | AGARTALA, Sep 30 (TIWN): Tripura Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) teachers are yet to be regularized even after the High Court’s order. The teachers filed a case in the Tripura High Court in 2017 demanding regularization and on 23rd February 2021, High Court ordered Tripura Govt to regularize the SSA teachers. However, Law Minister cum Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath stated that the High Court had given authority to the State Govt to apply a scheme for the SSA’s regularization and on that basis only 45 teachers could be regularized and other teachers also have to clear TET to become regular employees. In that context, SSA teachers said that the State Govt is misinterpreting the verdict of the Tripura High Court and thus not taking necessary actions to regularize them. Talking to the media in front of the Education Dept office, a job aspirant said that in the exam there was no synonym, antonym from the English language subject. Moreover, 3 questions came from Current Affairs which are totally out of syllabus. Displaying the printed syllabus copy, the TET candidates said that Math questions were too out of syllabus.
