SABROOM (South Tripura), Sep 30 (TIWN): PM Narendra Modi’s 2018 Tripura Pre-Assembly Election promise to give a ‘HIRA’ to Tripura replacing ‘Manik’ is far from actualization, rather, in many sectors public problems have increased heavily and there is no place to complaint about the grievance due to privatization. Although the State Govt has repeatedly claimed that the power cut problems have decreased today in a rare scenario it was seen that BJP party activists are themselves in protest against the ongoing power cut issue. Today in Saboom, Mondol-40 have placed a deputation to the authority with 14 points of demands seeking immediate solution of the power cut problems.

The agitators alleged that everyday at least 15 to 20 times, the power cut happens and after evening the situation turns worse.

On the one hand, extreme summers hit the common and on the other hand students face a lot of problems due to the power cut.

Saboom Mohila Morcha leader Kana Dey and other leaders like Manimala Boidyo, Jaba Dey, Jiten Tripura, Santipriyo Bhowmik, Tridip Chakraborty led the protest programme.
