AGARTALA, Sep 30 (TIWN): A businessman has alleged that he is facing constant life threats from a mafia in Agartala.
The businessman Masuk Mia had reportedly given Rs. 1.7 crore's stone to Mafiruddin (Kutti) but when Masuk Mia sought the amount and pressured him to clear his balance, the mafia attempted to kill him.
All the papers of the stone selling are with the businessman Masuk Mia but even after complaining AD Nagar police did not take any action.
The family then faced a severe attack on 28th February, 2021. At least 16 accused persons were lodged in the police complaint but it remained without action. Now, instead of giving them their amount, the mafia is demanding over 2 crores from the victim family and attempting to murder them.
