AGARTALA, Sep 28 (TIWN): Whereas the State government and it's Education Department keeps on terminating teachers from their jobs and 10323 sacked teachers are roaming jobless and searching for ways to sustain life, the government schools of Tripura are reeling with less faculty and shortage of teachers. The students of Ratanpur High school on Tuesday have blocked road in sign of protesting against the shortage of teachers in their school.

The agitating students have alleged that due to the less number of teachers in their school, the students are not getting proper education inside the school premises. No scheduled classes are occurring on regular basis. The students who are a year younger to face the board exam are afraid about their future as they are not getting the proper education in school.
Later, the administrative authority arrived at the agitation place and talked with the students. The authority has assured students that proper teachers and faculties will be provided to the Ratanpur Higher Secondary school within short period and after that the students have withdrawn the road blockade.
