AGARTALA, Sep 28 (TIWN) : With huge resentment over not hiking salary since BJP govt formed in Tripura, five delegation members of Tripura Private School Bus Drivers and Co-Drivers Association placed deputation to Joint Commissioner of Labour Department on 3 points demand.

The chairman, Biplab Kumar of the Association said before media that every year ahead of Durga Puja Bonus has been given to them but this year without inviting in meeting suddenly Puja Bonus of Rs 1,370 declared, which means directly insulted them.

The demands were raised- State Government should take initiative to increase their monthly salary like before which has been stopped since the BJP Govt has formed. Like the Metropolitan city Tripura Govt should take initiative to form Welfare Society/ Board for Motor Workers for the benefits of Motor Worker’s future, etc.
