Agartala, Oct 21 (TIWN) At least 112 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Tripura on Wednesday, pushing the tally to 29,800.

The death toll rose to 332 with one more patient succumbing to the infection. Tripura currently has 2,458 active coronavirus cases, while 26,990 people have recovered from the disease.  Twenty-three patients have migrated to other states, the official said. 

Altogether 265 people were on Tuesday discharged from G B Pant hospital, the main referral facility in the state for COVID-19 patients.  As many as 4,38,337 samples have been tested for the infection in the northeastern state so far, he added.
