Ahead of the news items were published Chief Minister Biplab Deb had announced Sarkari Naukri is not meant for work opportunity or income. With 50000 Govt jobs promise the BJP came in power but after assuming the power the BJP Govt has only given 1377 jobs and terminated 5000 contractual employees whereas in Left Govt’s time 5,000 jobs were given per year were given at an average. Biplab Deb who came under massive controversy by advising youths to rear cows and open paan-shops has doubled the unemployment rate and in April-2018, the unemployment rate is at 25.4% Unemployed youths are resented on the Govt as it has terminated contractual employees, dismissed all ongoing jobs. Tripura Re-Poll on May 12 in 168 booths | AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, May 11 (TIWN): Congress MP candidate Subal Bhowmik has alleged threat to voters, attack on Congress supporters. Tripura to undergo re-poll on May 12, for 168 booths whereas voters, opposition parties are depressed over the decision of Election Commission for such minimum numbers of booths’ repolling were announced. The ruling BJP however didn’t comment either in positive or in negative view regarding the re-poll whereas BJP supporters in some parts were almost going to boycott the election. Ground level survey says that each and every booth were manipulated except few exceptions. However, the opposition even though have moved to Supreme Court but said they are fully prepared for the re-poll in 168 booths. According to opposition parties, ECI’s decision of re-poll merely in 168 booths is not justified according to the demand. Due to lack of industrialization Govt job has been major means of resources which has been helped the state to promote markets and also BJP before coming in power promised to give 50000 Govt jobs in the first one year, but in the last year a sharp down of 80% was reported in Govt job rate. Supreme Court rejects Tripura Left Parti | NEW DELHI / AGARTALA, May 9 (TIWN): Supreme Court of India on Thursday has rejected Tripura Left Parties plea of “urgent hearing†regarding the Total Repoll demand in its West Tripura constituency which was rigged massively on 11th April allegedly by ruling BJP. Chief Justice of India Tanjan Gogoi today declared, this case will go in regular process and there is no reason for any urgent hearing and time is still in hand. CPI-M's sitting MP of the West Tripura constituency Sankar Prasad Dutta had filed a petition in the Supreme Court on Wednesday afternoon demanding Supreme Court’s interference in Election Commission’s decision about re-polling in only 168 booths, whereas more than 50% booths were rigged leaving strong evidences. Supreme Court senior advocate Raju Ramchandran represented MP Sankar Prasad Dutta in the court. Advocate P B Dinesh and Tapas Dutta Majumder have assisted Mr. Ramchandran. Addressing media, Tripura CPI-M spokesperson Bijan Dhar at Melarmath CPI-M Headquarter said, even though election is on 12th May but Supreme Court of India has denied the urgent hearing.
