AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, May 10 (TIWN): In another brutal episode, one 16 years old girl was allegedly killed by her step mother in Tripura.

The incident took place at Matai village in Belonia.

Chandan Deb daughter Sankari Deb’s deadbody was found hanging from a tree near to their home.

Allegation raised that her stepmother Sibani Deb has killed her. Police already arrested Sibani Deb.

Since childhood Sibani Deb was allegedly torturing Sankari without any reason.

She was not given food properly but amid all problems Sankari was continuing her studies, but now Sankari is in Class-X. So, there were needs of private tutors for her. With this issue, Sibani Deb allegedly killed her.

Police is investigating whether it’s a murder case or suicide.
