Over 5,000 Terminated Teachers gathered | AGARTALA, Sep 14 (TIWN): More than 5,000 teachers of the 10323 teachers joined at Shiksha Bhawan protest on Wednesday seeking permission to join in schools. The terminated teachers said that they were never terminated but due to the wrong implementation of the High Court, Supreme Court’s verdicts by the Education Dept. they were sacked illegally. Around 5000 terminated teachers participated in the protest today. As per the RTI replied by Supreme Court, it was said that most of the 10323 teachers were not even a party in the entire legal case. 10323 Teachers expecting a written reply | AGARTALA, Sep 13 (TIWN): 10323 teachers to meet Education Director Chandni Chandran tomorrow as she earlier sought 14 days time for her reply on 10323 teachers’ RTI matter. 10323 teachers have appealed to all the teachers to join the program in front of Shiksha Bhawan with them. According to 10323 teachers, 462 persons were only terminated and not everyone was terminated. On September 2, the 10323 teachers on Friday developed a legal argument with Education Director Chandni Chandran regarding their termination status. The argument erupted after the Director informed the teachers that they were terminated on legal grounds in a common termination (clubbed judgement) based on 2003’s New-Education-Policy. It slashed all jobs starting from 2002 to 2009’s all 10323 teachers’ jobs. Then the 10323 teachers asked the question of how other teachers’ jobs from 2002 to till TET exam are valid ?
