AGARTALA, Sep 13 (TIWN): Although the BJP led State Govt promised to give 7th Pay Commission to all Govt employees but in reality 31% DA is still pending and deprivations are allegedly going on in various departments although the Govt immediately increased the salaries, pensions of the MLAs as soon as it came to power.

But strangely in Kailashahar’s Disability Rehab centre, salaries of the employees instead of decreasing, has been decreased.

Three months after the increase in the salary of the employees of a total of four disabled boarding centers in the state, including Kailashahar, the fresh order has been released asking to reduce the salary has created a backlash among the employees.

According to the order issued by the State Resource Center, the then Member Secretary of the State Resource Center, Dr. Rajat Devabarma, increased the salary based on a memorandum dated June 4 last. 15 percent increase in the salaries of the employees of District Disabled Rehabilitation Centers in North, Dhalai, South and West districts.

On 12th September suddenly the present State Resource Center Member Secretary Dr. Deepti Vikas Roy sent another memorandum to the centre to cancel the increased salary and return the increased salary for the last three months.
