BELONIA, Sep 11 (TIWN): Swapna Chowdhury, Councilor of Belonia Municipal Corporation, was seriously injured when the wheel of the scooter burst at around 1 pm on Sunday.

According to the details of the incident, Swapna Chowdhury left her house in Giridhari area on a scooter with her son to go to Bilonia railway station.

After reaching the College Square area, Swapna Chowdhury and her son suddenly suffered an accident when the front wheel of the scooter burst. Both mother and son fell from the scooty onto the road.

Swapna Chowdhury, who was seriously injured, was immediately taken to Bilonia sub-district hospital.

After the first treatment, Swapna Chowdhury's head injury was serious and the doctor on duty transferred her to Gomti District Hospital for better treatment, after the funeral, she was transferred to Agartala GB Hospital after the funeral.
