UDAIPUR, Sep 11 (TIWN): Anil Das (70), accused of raping a 10-year-old girl in Niharnagar hospital area on September 11, was arrested by the police from Dhajnagar area of ??Udaipur on Saturday night.

Police of Puran Rajbari police station in Bilonia produced Anil Das in Bilonia court on Sunday. As the Additional District Sessions Judge was not on holiday on Sunday, he was produced in the court of the Judicial Magistrate (First Class) on that day. Anil Das has been ordered to appear before the Additional District and Sessions Court on Monday after sending him to one-day jail.

It is mentioned here that Anil Das raped a 10-year-old minor by taking her to the rubber garden in Nihar Nagar Hospital Tila area on September 1. On September 6, a case was filed by the family of the raped minor at Puran Rajbari police station. The police managed to arrest the accused on Saturday night by raiding various places for the past few days.
