20 more days tension as 10,323 case's fi | AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): No relief from tension as 10,323 case after giving much tensions for long days has once again delayed till March 28. Although 20 days gap but the delay of 10,323 case has turned the ball once again towards heated tension among the uncertain job holders. Thus, no end to the worries of 10,323 teachers of Tripura, who even after being regularized by Tripura Govt, presently undergoing heavy uncertainties. The long pending 10,323 teachers’ case has been re-scheduled and the haring to be held on March 28. Earlier Assam, Orissa Govt were defeated in similar cases of irregularity of recruitment rules for Teachers’ post. After that in the Jut Mill case also the Tripura Govt was defeated. Thus in this condition Tripura Govt is trying to delay the case as far as possible. It’s worthy to mention here that Tripura govt moved to Supreme Court when High Court canclled the jobs of 10,323 teachers’ jobs in 2014 as the jobs were given without going by rules of recruitment policy. Since 2010 to the next year Tripura Govt’s appointed 10,323 taechers, but recruitment was proven as unlawful in High Court, resulted mass cancellation of those Graduates and Post graduate teachers jobs. However, challenging the HC’s order the case was appealed in Supreme Court, where Tripura Govt began its delay game and the case left pending and pending. More interestingly, those 10,323 teachers have been regularized after they worked under Tripura Govt for long 5 yrs in fixed scale. But whether those regularized teachers can continue the job or not it will be decided on Wednesday. Supreme Court on last Monday had rejected State Govt's plea for more time in 10,323 case. With a major jolt for Tripura Govt SC Divisional bench chaired by A K Goel and Uday Mesh Lalit has denied to delay the case further, which has almost made it sure that the state govt can not hold the jobs anymore. Road accident killed 25 people in Dec-Ja | AGARTALA, March 7 (TIWN): Amidst road safety week’s celebration in January month atleast 25 people were killed in Tripura in last Dec to January months. In December 2016 the number of accidents were 40 and 12 people died out of this, whereas 41 people were critically injured. In 2017, Januray month out of 42 accident cases 13 people died whereas more 44 left injured seriously. Apart from that in 2015 only 158 people killed in road accident, whereas in 2014 188 people died. The number of accidents in 2014 was 716 and in number of accidents in 2015 was 647. That means everyday there are 2 accidents occurs in Tripura. Apart from 10,323 case, more 156 cases a | AGARTALA, March 7 (TIWN): 10,323 case is not exceptional, but there are more 156 cases similar which are pending at Supreme Court presently and all are against Tripura Govt. When day after day resentments and demands of the public were neglected by state govt, public knocked the door of justice and a survey says that in maximum cases public's allegation against state govt have proven as true in the High Court. However, few cases which caused major loss for Tripura Govt was further challenged in Supreme Court puting stay orders was against High Court's verdict. However, in important cases like DA, Promotion case already all other states have been defeated at Supreme Court. Thus the persons who have gone to retirement also they will get the 31 % DA since 1/1/2009 to 27/8/2011, in 3 installments. Rs. 17 lakhs Botanical garden turned bar | KAILASHAHAR, March 7 (TIWN): In 2013 at Kailashahar's Jarultali, with 25 hector areas a botanical garden was inaugurated by the then Forest Minister Jiten Chowdhury. The garden was initiated by former District Magistrate Abhishek Chandra, which was aimed to sock multiple medicine plants . In 2013, 60 varieties of medical plants were planted there and at the initial level Rs. 5 lakhs were sanctioned. Later from MGNREGA more Rs. 17 lakhs were released. But after planting the trees, the garden left as it is without nurturing resulting mass dying of those medicine plants. Presently rather than few bamboo plants nothing is left there and it has almost become a barren land without maintenance. It was aimed to educate the students about botany as well as to familiar them with various plants. Whereas inside the garden 60 kinds of plants were planted, the boundary was given with bamboos. With a major jolt for Tripura Govt, SC Divisional bench chaired by Justice A K Goel and Uday Mesh Lalit has denied to delay the case further, which has almost made it sure that the state govt can not play the 'delay game' anymore as SC likely to uphold High Court's judgement of cancelling all 10323 jobs. On Govt side there was Advocate P P Rao and on behalf of 10,323 Lawyer Rajib Dhaon and J P Kamad were present. Lawyer Salman Khurshid was on behalf of deprived unemployed youths. However with this news, sadness has gripped those 10,323 families and resentment has generated against the state govt led by CM Manik Sarkar. Election ahead; CPI-M busy to prevent fa | AGARTALA, March 6 (TIWN): As the Election is knocking the door, so CPI-M is now busy to save face from various allegation and complains. Such an incident happened at Agartala on Monday when BJP members were all set to block the Abhoynagar-BG road issuing the overflowing drains there. Reportedly, local people and BJP members also were doing day to day complaints to the AMC but even after multiple complaints raised by the locals no action was taken to solve the issue.After Sunday's incessant rain the drain had been overflowed and unhygienic condition has occupied that part of Agartala. The vexed BJP members as pre-schedule was to block the road.But immediately dozer, labours were brought to the spot and work began to clean the drains. Whereas since 5 / 6 months multiple complains were given in AMC, no action was taken. But as soon as BJP's activity was overheared by CPI-M, action was taken all of a sudden. Tripura suffering from severe power cris | AGARTALA, March 6 (TIWN): Whereas state Tripura is suffering from acute power shortage, State Govt has decided to supply an additional 60 MW of electricity to Bangladesh, over the 100 MW of power the state is providing to that country. The 100 MW electricity being supplied to the neighbouring country since March 23, 2016, is in addition to the 500 MW Bangladesh is already receiving from West Bengal. "Bangladesh has sought 100 MW electricity from India to solve its power crisis in the eastern part of the country. India's Power Ministry wanted to know whether the Tripura government is ready to provide additional 100 MW of power to Bangladesh, said the Minister. The sudden rain falls have downed the temperature much here in Tripura too. The cloudy weather is expected for next 1 week long. Vehicle movements have been disrupted, crops have damaged in some parts of the state. Sabroom-Agartala’s National Highway’s condition has turned a bad shape. As per the Weather Dept. this year the rainfall will be more than the previous year in this NE zone. Since the start of March, scattered rain has been going on over many states of the region. This activity is likely to continue over Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh for next week. By the next weekend, we can expect rainfall to increase significantly over Northeast states of India. In the dry season the work was going at a snail space, resulting road have become dangerous due to the muds over the road. If rain continues for next 48 hours vehicle movement via this national highway would be stopped. The road was left with tons of muds and 2 sides of the road were dangerous to pass. But now with the rains disruption the condition has become more critical. This has resulted due to the negligence of the state PWD under Minister Badal Choudhury. On June 30, 2015 Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stone of Agartala-Udaipur double lane construction work as a part of National Highway upgradation.
