AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): Amidst much sufferings, tortures against women Tripura is celebrating International Women’s Day.

However, in achievement also Tripura women are not lagging behind the rest of the country.

Tripura girl Dipa has shined in Olympic with Produnova vault, Laxmita Reang the legend in football, Surabhi Debbarma  as singer, Jharna Das Baidhya as MP.

Apart from that Tripura women are now working at street corners with variety of foods, they are in banks, teachers, TCS, TPS Officers---just ruling over the state.

However, it can not be deined everyday 3 women are tortured here and 2 commit suicide.

Again in Madhyamik, HS Exam Tripura girls perform better than boys.
