Santirbazar, March 6 (TIWN): Minister for Home (Fire service) Khagendra Jamatia inaugurated Fire Service Centre at Jolaibari under Santirbazar Sub Division. Earlier there was only 1 fire service centre at Santirbazar Town.

Fire Service officials, SDM Santirbazar,MLA Jasbir Tripura ,MLA Basudeb Majumder , BDO Jolaibari, Jolaibari  Panchayat Samiti Chairperson were present during the programme. It’s to be mentioned that a mass gathering was followed during the programme.

Reportedly, local people of Jolaibari are very happy after the inauguration of that fire service office. So in any case of emergency fire service troop can reach to the spot shortly. Local people were in demand of a new fire service at Jolaibari for last few years.

However, during delivering the speech Minister Khagendra Jamatia said that before assembly election more fire service offices will be inaugurated according to public demand.
