3 Professional Thieves Arrested by Agart | AGARTALA, May 16 (TIWN): In a major development against increasing theft and robbery cases in Agartala, East Agartala Police have busted a gang comprised of three youths. Total three persons were arrested in the drive, reportedly after day-night engagement of East Agartala Police and West Agartala Police in the mission. Huge numbers of laptops, mobiles and other expensive stolen items had been recovered from them. Police continues interrogation of them and after producing each of them before the court, remands for them to be sought. On Saturday morning, Chief Minister Biplab Deb has announced, “625 samples have been tested for #COVID19 and among them 11 persons found #COVID19 POSITIVE. 7 people from 86-Bn BSF & 4 civilian from Churaibari Gate (2 driver from other state, 2 people returned from Guwahati). Yesterday also many patients were released from the hospital and right now in the GB hospital 50 patients are under treatment. Talking to media, Dr Pradip Bhowmik said that due to Doctors and Medical staffs continuous breathless struggles, situations are developing fast and hopefully Tripura will become a COVID-free state again and the fight has to continue until defeating the pandemic. Dr Pradip Bhowmik is hoping that soon the AGMC block (GB hospital quarantine centre) can be freed from the patients and Govt’s other centre’s too. But, before 2018 Tripura Assembly Election almost illusion based super-promises given by the BJP Party to come in power, left the teachers literally devastated after 10 years of jobs. Although it seems to be easy to advise the teachers to struggle for existence but it is truly turning sensitive issue amid police have arrested 2 of the teachers. With all these, chaos and no money situation for the teachers is the reality, when their livelihood is gone after 10 years of continuous habit of getting salaries per month. Tripura Law Minister Ratanlal Nath has said that till now 39,799 persons want to come back to state who have registered their names in the portal of the State Govt. Already the home returning process has been started as from Bengaluru (Karnataka) around 1,200 people came back via train on yesterday. The Law Minister also said, another train will start from 14th May from Karnataka. In case of Tamil Nadu more than 7000 people stranded and the passengers are on the way by route. When media asked, Police said that they detained these two persons as they were suspiciously moving at the Police Headquarter. On the other side, the ex-teachers said that they came to meet the DGP. One of the detained person said, “We just came to meet the DGP. Whether we are arrested or not, we don’t know anything.
