AGARTALA, May 13 (TIWN): Around 1,200 stranded people could arrive here in Tripura as Govt launched the first ever Shramik train for them.
Talking to the arrived people, they expressed their happiness on home-state arrival. One of the passengers said, “This is like end of their much awaited home returning day. Ofcourse, we faced a lot of problems and in 3 days journey also, huge problems were faced but still finally we are in our State. Feeling relaxed and happy”.
The passengers also thanked the State Govt for this management as they were heavily suffering due to lockdown. In Agartala Railway Station, massive management on behalf of Health Dept was done. Everyone in social distances stood in rows for screening and name entries. They will be taken for sample collection and then to be released for home, where 14 days quarantine will be strictly followed.
