BG passenger train running in regular ba | AGARTALA, May 12 (TIWN): Fulfilling the year long demands of BG passengers train service finally running smoothly over past few days in the landlocked state- Tripura which has recently made its place in the railway map of the world connecting with rest of India. An official release of union law ministry said that Justice Navin Sinha, Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court has been moved as the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court. An official of the Tripura law department said that Justice Vaiphei, 60, would assume office on May 16. Separate High Courts were set up in Tripura, Manipur and Meghalaya in 2013. High prices prompt alleged rice smugglin | AGARTALA, May 10 (TIWN): Acting on a tip off, SDM Manik Lal das on Tuesday seized a total of 98 bags of rice from MG Bazaar after information of illegal smuggling of rice bags was alleged from the area.The officials, after receiving a tip off, raided the MG bazaar market shed area and seized the rice bags. The Sadar sub-divisional administration led by SDM- Manik Lal Das recovered 98acks (approximately 50 Kg) of unlawful rice from MG Bazaar, under MG Bazaar outpost this morning. People were advised not to look at the Sun directly or through any optics, as they may risk permanent blindness. The safest way to view it is by projecting the image of the Sun onto a sheet of paper and looking at that image. Seeing the Sun and the transit of Mercury by projecting its image on a sheet is perfectly safe.On an average, about 13 transits of Mercury take place in a century. The locals further placed banners raised voice against the crippled roads and demanded compensation for the eviction carried out in their places for the expansion of road for flyover construction.
