Tripura Govt targets vision to shape Tri | AGARTALA, Aug 18 (TIWN): As lakhs of Tripura patients and multi-lakhs of neighboring country Bangladesh patients fly to Calcutta and other big cities of India for treatment, Govt of Tripura has decided to convert Tripura into a medical hub. This decision was taken long back, whereas today in a meeting of the health dept with Dental Surgeons Chief Minister Biplab Deb was heard to say about lack of specialists in the state but talks are going on with various high profile doctor whether they can shift in Tripura, however, a massive development in the infrastructure, work-culture and trained medical staffs are needed so far. CM also announced Rs. 107 crore's new project of infrastructure to be unveiled under PPP model. Huge numbers of Teachers to be recruited | AGARTALA, Aug 18 (TIWN): Massive recruitment in teaching profession is expected in Tripura in November month as according to Supreme Court’s guidelines, Govt of Tripura has to recruit qualified teachers before 2020, June when 10323 teachers will lose jobs on ad-hoc basis.However already around lakhs of candidates are in the process of application whereas the numbers of TET applicants are expected multi-lakhs. Indeed, it was said by Education Minister Ratanlal Nath while referring recruitment process of the teachers. Nath said, there are huge numbers of teachers shortage in Tripura schools and also massive dry ongoing about qualified candidates. As a result, special relaxation will be given in the November month’s teachers’ recruitment. Tripura has more than one thousand B.Ed holding TET qualified people. CPI-M’s elected Panchayat member | AGARTALA, Aug 18 (TIWN): CPI-M's elected Panchayat member Mujib Ali, S/O-Sahid Ali was arrested at Kailashahar with huge quantity of ya-ba tablets at his own residence, whereas from CPI-M and Congress it has been alleged as a deep conspiracy of BJP taken ahead of oath taking programme and to form the Panchyayat by putting opposition under the bars. Kailashahar SDPO Chandan Saha said, Mujib Ali was arrested from his own house in Srinathpur of Kailashahar with at least 180 ya-ba tablets and case has been registered under NDPS and will be proceeded to court. After the arrest, CPI-M also gheraoed Irani police station demanding immediate release of the arrested CPI-M member of the Panchayat. The arrest took place one day ahead of oath-taking. This incident created heavy panic among the locals at there.According to the allegation, out of 12 seats, total 6 seats were won by BJP and 5 CPI-M and 2 Congress. Tripura Governor pays tribute to the fre | AGARTALA, Aug 15 (TIWN): Northeast state Tripura's Governor Ramesh Bais has paid tribute to freedom fighters on 73rd Independence Day, by offering garland and floral tribute to the freedom the freedom fighters at the Post Office Chowmuhani.Bais said that after prolonged fight with British, freedom fighters of our country had succeeded to free our country from the British rule.As a part of the program, Governor also gave floral tribute to Gandhi memorial at Gandhighat.
