Cabinet nods new rule after revise in th | AGARTALA, Aug 8 (TIWN): Tripura Cabinet has nodded new rule after revise in the No Detention Policy. Addressing media Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said, “As you know, State Govt is giving huge importance to the Education system. Among the priority sectors, Education has been the most important section. Central Govt has revised No Detention Policy and we the State Govt has decided to frame a rule for that in the cabinet. Earlier, there was no strict rule to maintain the quality of education but now there will be regular examine of the students. It will not be like passing all students without any development. In Class-5 and Class-8 there should be regular examination. If a student fails, s/he should be additional chance for re-examinationâ€. This rule is already existing in CBSE schools and now Tripura Govt has taken this rule. 10323 Teachers demanded 13,000 Non-Teach | AGARTALA, Aug 8 (TIWN): As Supreme Court of India has removed the contempt of court charge against Tripura Govt under previous CPI-M Govt, on the basis of 13000 non-teaching posts’ filling up, the terminated 10323 teachers now have demanded that the Govt of Tripura led by BJP-IPFT to fill up the posts for which all 10323 teachers had applied. The 10323 teachers said that if Tripura Govt does this, they will be indebted to the Govt always. There was a contempt of court charge against the then Chief Secretary Sanjeev Ranjan and the then Secretary Education Susheel Kumar and one more official in 2017. On August 2nd, Court has dismissed the petition saying there is no necessity of contempt of court. The teachers told the Supreme Court that whether the terminated teachers will get jobs from 13000 posts it’s not sure but they ‘may’ get jobs and as a result urged the Supreme Court to permit for the recruitment. Referring the contempt of court case was disposed in the Supreme Court as announced by Education Minister Ratanlal Nath, Tapan Chakraborty said that it has proven that the whole complex situation was created by the oppositions and now the teachers in problem due to them only. On 2nd August after the hearing Ratanlal Nath said, “There was a contempt of court charge against the then Chief Secretary Sanjeev Ranjan and the then Secretary Education Susheel Kumar and one more official. In another separate case total 15 teachers (I can’t remember the names, but I am gathering details from Supreme Court) filed a petition in Supreme Court in support of 10323 teachers saying 10323 teachers were not made the party (it was a mis-petition) and Supreme Court asked them to withdraw the case and to file in the High Court. Rape incidents horrified Tripura in last | AGARTALA, Aug 7 (TIWN): Since July 2019 rapes and molestations have been increased heavily in the state, however, immediate actions are being taken by the police. Just on yesterday a Neighbour grandfather has allegedly raped a 9 years old girl in Tripura.The incident took place at Khowai sub-division’s East Ganaki village when nobody was at the home.The 52 years old man Ajay Das entered the room from the backdoor and raped her. The aunt saw Ajay Das while coming out of her room.A 9 years girl in Jogendranagar was raped recently. After a 9 years girl at Jogendranagar was raped before few days, one more minor girl was raped in Tripura. This time, a five years minor girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour uncle, Jiban Debnath, by profession an auto driver.On Friday Adarsha Coloni area of Gaokulanagar under Bishalgarh this incident took place.The child left injured and undergoing heavy bleeding. Her mother informed the neighbours and they immediately took her in hospital.On that night FIR was lodged in the police station at Bishalgarh. State Tripura going through the real â | AGARTALA, Aug 7 (TIWN): Countrywide various crisis situations, debates, conversations, international issues have heated up whereas in case of Tripura these issues could not spark much among the youths due to massive unemployment rate, the state is undergoing. The former Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley promised Tripura’s 7 laksh unemployed youths that along with year jobs, at least 50,000 Govt jobs will be given only in the first one year of the BJP Govt. But after and 5 years of the Govt, it could not provide even 5,000 jobs which has frustrated the aspirants. Moreover, Finance Dept has given a pause in recruitment via official letter alleging Tripura has enough numbers of Govt employees. Centre for Monitoring of Indian Economy (CMIE) has revealed its monthly data on Indian state’s unemployment rates, listing Tripura on the top of the list. In compare to last month there is however 3% down in unemployment rate which was 26.6% and this month it stands at 23.3%. Himachal Pradesh emerged in the second position with 19.6% whereas Haryana at 19.5%. CMIE is a database of the financial performance of Indian companies. Massive Narcotics Smuggling, Yaba, Heroi | UDAIPUR, Aug 6 (TIWN): In a successful operation, Udaipur Police led by SDPO Himadri Prasad Das and Kakrabon OC Nani Gopal Das seized huge amounts and heroine and yaba tablets in a late night ride. Two smugglers were detained in the drive. The detained persons are : Halim Mia, resident of Krishna Kishore Nagar in Bishalgarh and Jabbar Ali, resident of Udaipur Rajnagar. Another accused person is Rupan Mia, resident of Udaipur’s Fulkumari No-2 escaped from the spot. Total 380 brown sugar, heroine 75, yava 37 and one vehicle bearing number TR 01 R 0475 and 7,900 cash were seized. Yaba tablet addiction has gripped the Northeast state Tripura at the root-level. Just before 4 days with 20,000 yaba tablets three youths have been caught by Ambasa Police while carrying huge numbers of yaba tablets via Assam Agartala road. Bishalgarh, Sonamura has been the biggest corridor for drug smuggling and still continuing as the biggest corridor. Total 20,000 yaba tablets worth Rs. 40 lakhs were seized from the arrested persons by Ambasa police. November | AGARTALA, Aug 6 (TIWN): Tripura’s terminated 10323 teachers who have announced to begin movement demanding security to livelihood, might be divided in unity if in November 2019 TET exam with one time relaxation employee a section of 10323 teachers. Experts’ views say that BJP’s masterstroke is the November 2019 TET exam where multi-thousand candidates will be selected and if half of the terminated teachers get jobs via TET the movements will be automatically downed in strength due to remaining numbers of teachers, just like in case Forest Dept’s termination due to lack of supports a section terminated employees could not fight for jobs back in the long run.
