EVM, VVPAT to be used in by-elections : | AGARTALA, Aug 27 (TIWN): After Election Commission of India announced by-election for four states including Tripura’s Badharghat constituency, CEO Sriram Taranikanti has announced that total 71 polling stations will be in the Badharghat 14 constituency and on the election date i.e. 23rd September VVPAT and EVMs will be like normal elections.Preparations for the election has been started by State Election commission for the vacated seat in Badharghat.The by-election for the 14-Badharghat Legislative Assembly constituency (SC) will be held on September 23.The seat had become vacant after the demise of BJP MLA Dilip Sarkar.Along with Tripura, by-polls will be held for the Hamirpur seat in Uttar Pradesh, Dantewada in Chhattisgarh and Pala in Kerala on September 23. Even though Education Dept is motivating teachers for more dedication and hardworks, but teachers’ crisis remained as a major hurdle to develop the quality in the education. Without mitigating the basic gap of teachers-students ratios, meetings at the high level and blaming the teachers for students’ poor results are not at all working out to develop the quality of Education, although Tripura has more than thousand TET qualified youths roaming jobless. Same is happening with College education system. According to RTE teachers have to work 45 hours per week, which includes the preparation and other works except teaching. Teachers are maximum busy in class-tests, copy checking, lesson planning etc except class room lectures.
