Tripura's BSNL service paralyzed : Inter | AGARTALA, April 18 (TIWN): Tripura's BSNL service has totally died following the last night's winds and storms across West Bengal and Northeast. The BSNL Headquarter itself at North Gate left paralyzed due to the dead-BSNL service. "Due to the yesterday's rain, storms at West Bengal, the BSNL service including mobile, broadband, fibre-net connectivity have stopped functioning", a top level BSNL official told TIWN. The sudden collapse of the system have left offices, banks in non-operating mode as BSNL broadband or fibre-net are highest used by Govt offices as well as private offices. This has been the second time that BSNL is down in last one month in Tripura. Last time there was problem in the cable connectivity at GB area. The incident took place on yesterday night, when 5 youths after kidnapping a minor girl, raped her in Jail Quarter with the help of one lady. The 16 years minor girl was returning from her tutor's home in the evening at Akon-Bakon area of Jail Quarter line. The kidnappers were first seen by jail-staffs who took shelter in the quarter on yesterday night for this brutal crime.
