AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): TET qualified candidates on Saturday have gheraoed Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s residence demanding recruitment of TET-2021 qualified teachers at a time and final decision of the Education Minister over Recruitment. Centering this, on Saturday Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman said, “Due to unemployment, unemployed Youths are in Rudderless situation but the Govt has no concern to diminish the unemployment problems”.

“Do youths have to roam even after qualifying TET-I and TET-II?”, he asked. 

Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman slammed Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s previous statement of ensuring that 14,000 Teaching posts remained vacant but they are not providing jobs due to the unavailability of qualified candidates. Over this Barman said that today they are qualified but they (Govt) are not providing jobs to them (Unemployed TET qualified candidates).

Barman also said that after qualifying NET, SLET candidates are sitting jobless.
