Two TSR Jawans Shot-Dead in Tripura : St | AGARTALA, Dec 4 (TIWN) Two Tripura State Rifles (TSR) jawans were gunned down in a fratricidal incident in western Tripura on Saturday, police said.2 Tripura State Rifle Jawans were killed after one of their colleagues fired at both. The incident took place at Konaban of Goukl Nagar, Bishalgarh. The TSR Jawans are appointed at GCS ONGC under the 5th Bn.Reportedly, one TSR Jawan named Sukanta Das had fired at two of his colleagues M.S. Jamatia and Kiran Jamatia. In the incident, the first TSR Jawan died whereas Kiran Jamatia has been hospitalized.The accused Sukanta Das has surrendered at Madhupur PS. Injured Kiran Jamatia was admitted to TMC hospital but it has been informed that Jawan Kiran Jamatia has also passed away.
