AGARTALA, Dec 5 (TIWN): Amid PM Modi's promise to gift Tripura a HIRA where "H" means "Highway", roads remain in terrible shape after 4 years of BJP rule in Tripura.

For years, roads in Ramesh Kabiraj of Pancharatan ADC Village under Raimavalley assembly constituency of Gandachhara subdivision, Dhalai district left unrepaired.

The villagers are going through extreme miseries while moving on the roads. The villagers complained that nothing was being done even after knocking on the door of the administrative officials including the leader of the present ruling party.

Around 80 families are surviving in the area and Jamatia Para SB School is located nearby area/ Often School teachers, students face difficulties moving on the road. Several times the local villagers informed the local leader and authorities to repair the road but no initiative was taken. Due to the negligence of local leaders and authorities, the road turned into a pathetic shape.
