Deplorable Roadway Conditions hit Public | AGARTALA, Nov 5 (TIWN): Amid Chief Minister Biplab Deb's tall claims about a HIRA+ era in Tripura under BJP Govt, deplorable roadways condition have hit public lives from South Tripura to North. Before 2 years, promising smooth roads, Tripura Govt had imposed VAT on fuel, which drastically increased petrol, diesel prices but after 2 and half years of BJP Govt's establishment, common men's fates have remained same. TIWN teams have visited two places which includes Teliamura and Sabroom and talked to the daily goers there, recorded situations in camera. In Sabroom, deplorable roadway condition was noticed at the Poyangbari block, where new road construction is a matter farway, but for last 3 years, there was no maintenance. It has turned the roadway very risky. Same was noticed in Teliamura's Subdivisional hospital road. Locals, vehicle drivers there have requested the Govt to repair the roads at the earliest. Terminated 10323 Teacher commits suicide | AGARTALA, Nov 5 (TIWN): One of the terminated 10323 teachers has committed suicide, triggered massive resentment among his colleagues. The former teachers announced about the suicide incident amid a protest this week. Tensions have been escalated across 10323 teachers families' who are in jobless situation for last 7 months under Supreme Court's order and the tensions are being fueled with Banks are pressuring them for loan interests. Massive Unemployment Problems triggering | AGARTALA, Nov 4 (TIWN): Ahead of Diwali, there is no good news yet for the highest unemployment issue suffered state Tripura, as the Northeast tiny state Tripura still remains in top position of unemployment rate. As per CMIE data, Tripura's unemployment rate is 17.4% which is highest in Northeast, whereas the neighboring state Assam's unemployment rate is just 1.2%. Nationally Tripura's position is 3rd after Uttarakhand which has recorded 22.3% in last month and Haryana whose unemployment rate is 19.7%. This is the data of September month, 2020, published by CMIE today on November 1st, 2020. Tripura recently met a loss of around 8,000 jobs from teaching profession as 10323 teachers lost jobs but the State Govt has set a goal of recruiting highest 4,000 per year. The agitation was after a group of miscreants held attacks on two lawyers and although at first police caught an accused red-handed, but later huge numbers of Bajrang Dal members entered the police station and asked police to release the arrested man.
