JUMLA 2019 : ‘Tripura youths no mo | Udaipur (Tripura), Jan 22 (TIWN): Eventhough unemployment rate has been doubled in last 10 months and from 15% the unemployment rate is now 28.8%, which is highest in the whole country, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb said that youths in Tripura are no more depending for Govt Jobs but they are sitting to give jobs to others and that’s the change BJP Govt has brought in last 10 months. Biplab Deb was addressing in a Mohila Morcha programme at Udiapur and said, “The previous Govt used youths to walk in their party rallies and after 10 years on fixed basis a job would be given just like something giving to a beggar. But under BJP era, youths do not wait for Govt jobs, rather they are establish and ready to give jobs to othersâ€. Increasing Rohingyas’ entry into | AGARTALA, Jan 22 (TIWN): 31 Rohingyas who were standing since few days at the no man’s land of Indo-Bangla border in Tripura have entered now in Tripura after Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) denied to take them. Police claimed that on humanitarian ground, BSF allowed their entry. This decision was taken after two days long meeting, arguments between India and Bangladesh border-guard-forces took place. However, Tripura police have denied BGB’s allegation that the Rohingyas entered the border via Tripura, rather said, the Rohingyas entered Tripura via Bangladesh. The 31 Rohingyas including 10 children have been brought in Tripura from Indo-Bangla border by BSF as have denied to allow their entry in Bangladesh. Police Officer Ajay Kumar Das informed media, the Rohingyas were stranding at no-man’s-land in Indo-Bangla border. BGB had denied to make their entries in Bangladesh.Thus, on humanitarian ground, BSF allowed their entry in India. FIR was lodged against the detained Rohingyas as they attempted to enter India illegally and to be produced before the court. It's a matter of concern for Northeast state Tripura as time to time Rohingyas have been detained in Tripura. In 2018 around 1500 people entered illegally under police record, who were detained. Petrol, Diesel prices fueling up everyda | AGARTALA, Jan 22 (TIWN): There is no relief from increasing petrol price and the prices are spiking up each day. On Tuesday in Agartala Petrol price was recorded with Rs. 71.26 with a jump of 13 paisa than yesterday and diesel prices raised at Rs. 67.36 with 19 paisa increased than Monday. At the same time passengers are again in much trouble as buses are forcing more charges illegally in many places. At the national level the prices are more violating. Petrol prices rose for the sixth straight session while diesel edged up for the 13th consecutive day on Tuesday. Petrol and diesel rates were at Rs 76.90 a litre and Rs 69.01 per litre, respectively in Mumbai.According to the Indian Oil Corp data, petrol prices in New Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai were at Rs 71.27 per litre, Rs 73.36 per litre and Rs 73.99 per litre, respectively, while diesel stood at Rs 65.90 a litre in New Delhi, Rs 67.68 a litre in Kolkata and Rs 69.62 a litre in Chennai. Brutal Murder of Shukhu Gour : Manik Sar | AGARTALA, Jan 20 (TIWN): Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has visited late Shuku Gour’s house, who was killed brutally by setting fire cracker on head by BJP miscreants on Kali puja night. Sarkar met the family members, demanded action against the culprits. Addressing media, Manik Sarkar said that Shukhu Gour was a Govt employee in the Secretariat but his wife already became overage whereas children are still school students. “According to the new die-in-harness policy of the State Govt, I don’t know whether the family will be eligible for getting a livelihood from the Govt side and his wife who is over 40 is just 5 passed. Dasarambari public boycott Tripura†| DASHARAMBARI / MADHAB BARI, (Jirania), Jan 19 (TIWN): In a clear sign of mass rejection of Tripura’s ‘Saddam Hussein’, Public boycotted Biplab Deb’s visit in Dasarambari, Madhabari, Jirania. In a major blow to Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s visit to Dasarambari and Madhabbari after 11 days, locals boycotted him and his team inside area of Dasharam Bari where the actual incident of Police led brutal violence took place on January 8. Before Biplab Deb’s visit, angry locals had covered King Bir Bikram Manikya’s face with black colour plastic sheet displaying their anger on police firing and attack on the King’s statue, damaged statue of the King. However later in front of Biplab, the black cover was opened by Biplab’s people amid huge security. On January 8, NESO led protest against Modi Govt’s controversial Citizenship Bill, brutal firing by Biplab Deb controller Tripura Police injured 6 Tiprasa youths fueled by shops and houses burning of various tribals, non-tribals in that area by BJP activists. After 11 days of Jirania Police firing, | AGARTALA, Jan 19 (TIWN): After 11 days of Police brutality, shooting 6 innocent youths, finally Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb managed time to meet Jirania Police firing victims who are yet hospitalized and under treatment at GB hospital. Chief Minister after meeting injured youths in GB, also visited Madhabbari in Jirania where the actual incident took place and also tried to meet families who were affected during the strike after BJP miscreants with party flags entered the place and burnt the shops and properties ended by police firing and police led second attack on ambulance, but he was stopped to entering Dasrambari by locals. However, BJP Govt has turned it as “accident†and claimed opposition parties came with BJP flags. So far no action was taken against police for brutally firing the youths of NESO who were protesting against citizenship bill. Moreover, till now Govt hasn’t move for Judicial investigation and strict to the Magisterial investigation.Each and every political party in Tripura, outside Tripura except BJP have demanded for Judicial investigation under a High Court judge. ‘Magisterial probe of Jirania viol | AGARTALA, Jan 19 (TIWN): Demanding Judicial investigation in Jirania's Madhabbari violence led by Police brutal firing, MP Jitendra Chaudhury on Friday said, “Govt gave Magisterial investigation whereas West District Magistrate Sandeep mahatma already shown himself not an IAS but an agent of BJP. His investigation will be nothing but a readymade report from BJP office, indeed a farce. No investigation will be done properly and so we want Judicial investigation of Jirania violenceâ€. Sandeep Mahatme was also the same person who cancelled RNI number of Daily-Desher-Katha newspaper in Tripura in total illegal manner, later exposed by High Court. Jitendra Chaudhury said, “People of Tripura as well as us (CPI-M) have no trust on such kind of investigation.
