AGARTALA, Jan 21 (TIWN): BJP Vice President Avinash Rai Khanna has arrived here in Tripura today to strengthen BJP party ahead of Lok Sabha election.

Being asked by media about Citizenship Bill, he said, it would likely to bring positive impact in upcoming Lok Sabha election.

However, he added, Northeast sentiment will be given value while stretching Citizenship Bill.

Avinash Rai Khanna is a Vice Chairman, Indian Red Cross Society and Vice President of Bhartiya Janta Party. He is also a BJP In-charge of Jammu & Kashmir & Rajasthan. Earlier, he served as member of Rajya Sabha and was also a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Hoshiarpur constituency of Punjab.
