In such an event, a poor family’s shop was totally burnt by BJP miscreants on Monday late night. The shop was burnt for the second time, after it was burnt on March 6, just 3 days after the election result out. The owner of the shop is Debabrata Shil, was running the shop for 7 years and amid poverty he completed his graduation by running this shop. Being asked by media about the incident, Debabrata said, “At night the security guard of TMC called me and informed about the fire incident. Already fire brigades had come. At first on 6th March, 2018 they burnt my shop and the same party (BJP) burnt my shop againâ€. All the miscreants belong to BJP and also they had warned Debabrata recently about the consequences. Fuel prices shoot up every day, Petrol P | AGARTALA, Jan 15 (TIWN): Petrol, diesel prices are raising everyday in Tripura, fueled by the VAT and Cess imposed by the BJP led State Govt. The checked prices on Tuesday in Agartala were recorded with Rs. 70.40 of petrol price whereas the Diesel Price is Rs. 65.91. When petrol, diesel prices are on spike, recently Tripura BJP led State Govt has once again imposed VAT on the fuel leading again hike. On yesterday the petrol price was Rs. 70.13 whereas today it raised at Rs. 70.40. Diesel was increased from Rs.65.61 to Rs. 65.91. Apart from smuggling, MLA Surajit Datta told media that Tapas and Samarendra Deb led gang collects “hafta†from businessmen and the vehicles entering here they are collecting Rs. 2000. The allegation was brought after the MLA was attacked by the gang as he warned the gang not to collect “hafta†from there. Local people said that “Sukh Santi Mistanno Bhandar†whose owner is Tapas Ghosh is just the stage for hiding phensedyl business of Tapas. Tapas’s mentor is BJP General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik, who also gave Tapas lakhs of projects without tender as mean to loot recently held Northeast Youth Festival.
